2026 Club Leadership Education (CLE)

The Southwest District of Kiwanis is excited to announce its annual Club Leadership Education (CLE) training, designed to equip all incoming club officers with the knowledge and skills they need for a successful year. While this comprehensive district-led training is required by all incoming officers, it’s just the beginning; the Southwest District will offer additional training opportunities throughout the year.

Ignite Your Leadership: Southwest District Officer Training

The new administrative year is just around the corner! This is a friendly reminder that whether you are a newly elected club officer, a seasoned leader, or a member eager to learn more about Kiwanis, Southwest District Leadership Training is designed for you.

This evening training series equips club presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and membership chairs with the practical knowledge, resources, and skills needed to lead a thriving club. Participants will discover proven best practices, connect with fellow Kiwanians from across the district, and gain actionable insights to expand your club’s service impact and growth.

If you are stepping into a leadership role, attending this training is the single best investment you can make in your club’s upcoming success. Even if you aren’t an officer this year, you are highly encouraged to join us! Any member interested in club operations, leadership development, or growth strategies will greatly benefit.

Training Schedule & Lineup

Classes run nightly the week of July 13th.

  • Time: 6:00 PM Arizona / 7:00 PM New Mexico & El Paso
  • Duration: Each session lasts 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the office.

Nightly Sessions:

Monday, July 13th: Club Secretaries Training with Susan Hinchcliffe (Corrales)

Tuesday, July 14th: Club Treasurers Training with Karin Church (Los Alamos)

Wednesday, July 15th: Club Presidents Training with Douglas Chadwick (Gallup)

Thursday, July 16th: Club Membership Chairs Training with Don Townsend (Sierra Vista)
