There is a unique power in the Kiwanis connection. This August, we aren’t just gathering; we are charting a new course. Break away from the everyday and join your fellow changemakers at the 2026 Southwest District Convention in the heart of the Land of Enchantment.
Under our 2025 banner, “Together, We Move Forward,” we are centering this year’s experience on the unity and collective strength of our entire district.

The countdown is on! We are getting ready to gather in the heart of the Land of Enchantment for the 2026 Southwest District Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We can’t wait to see our district community come together for an unforgettable weekend filled with learning, connection, and inspiration.
📅 Stay Up-to-Date: Classes & Schedule
Whether you’re attending in person or following along from home, you can stay on top of all the excitement, workshops, and featured sessions happening throughout the convention.
Friday Evening Foundation Dinner | Outdoor Casual / Dressy-Casual
Note: Held outdoors. Albuquerque evenings typically begin in the mid-80s and drop into the mid-60s. We recommend comfortable, breathable attire and a light jacket or layer for later in the night.
Saturday Educational Sessions | Business Casual
Kiwanis polos paired with slacks, khakis, or dark-wash jeans are recommended.
Saturday Night Governor’s Gala | Semi-Formal
Women: Dresses, skirts, or dress slacks paired with a blouse.
Men: Collared shirts (button-down or polo) with slacks, chinos, or dark-wash jeans (no rips or tears). Leather shoes or dressy/stylish sneakers are welcome.
Please note: No shorts, flip-flops, or athletic sneakers for the Gala.

To everyone who secured their spot: get ready for a fantastic lineup of events! To those who missed out this time around, we will certainly miss you in Albuquerque, but we hope you’ll follow along online as we share highlights throughout the event.
