Kiwanis offers many opportunities for education, such as online modules, classroom sessions and tutorial videos. No matter if you’re a brand new member or seasoned veteran, Kiwanis education resources help you make the most of your club experience.

Wise Wednesday Webinars
Wise Wednesdays are an opportunity for the District to come together via Zoom to learn about topics important for strengthening clubs and enhancing personal leadership skills.
Wise Wednesdays are hosted By Gov. Sheila, and generally occur the 4th Wednesday of the month. Exceptions are November and December where we’ve moved to the 3rd Wednesday due to holidays, and February and August when there will be other District educational events.

Southwest District Convention
The Southwest District Convention is a great place to learn more about Kiwanis and how to make our Clubs successful and provide impactful service. The 2025 Convention will be held August 22-23, 2025 at Don Laughlin’s Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. More information will be released in Spring 2025.
Southwest District Mid-Year Educational Conference
Every Winter the Southwest District comes together (either virtually or in person) to learn ways to recruit and retain members, protect our youth, increase the visibility in our communities, and make our clubs the best they can be. Resources from the 2024 Mid-Year Educational Conference can be found HERE.
Kiwanis International Convention
The premier source for Kiwanis education is the Kiwanis International Convention held every Summer. The 2025 convention is June 25-28, 2025 in Pittsburg, PA. Learn more and register HERE.
Kiwanis International EdHub
Kiwanis International has created a special place on their website for Club leaders. EdHub contains easily identified links to educational resources and materials to help club officers and committees thrive.
There is also a link to Kiwanis 101 statistic in case you need to know statistics on Kiwanis International.
Additionally, if you have leaders who’s primary language is Spanish, they can easily download the leadership guide in their native language!
