Standing Committees
Standing committees are mandatory committees pursuant to Article 5 Section 2 of the District By-laws. The primary purpose of these committees is to ensure the continued success of the Southwest District.
Committee on Strategic Realignment
The Committee on Strategic Realignment protects the future of the District by recommending changes Division membership with the goals of: district growth; administrative efficiency, and equitable distribution of clubs for each Lieutenant Governor.
The Committee on Strategic Realignment consists of the Governor, the Governor-Elect, the Immediate Past Governor, the District Executive Director, the president of the incumbent class of Lieutenant Governors, the Chair of the Committee of Past Governors, and the President of the Past Lieutenant Governors Association (“the Roadrunners”).
The 2025-2026 members of the Strategic Realignment Committee are:
The Financial Advisory Committee maintains the continuity and integrity of the District’s finances. The committee reviews expense reports, recommends changes in the budget, develops policies, and advises the Governor-Elect in preparing their budget.
The Financial Advisory Committee includes the Governor, the Immediate Past Governor, the Governor Elect, two (2) Lieutenant Governors, two (2) immediate past Lieutenant Governors, and two (2) Lieutenant Governors-Elect, the District Executive Director, and the chair of the Committee of Past Governors.
